Movies really have along history among us. I still remember that I saw the style of old movies on TV. It was so funny. One person should roll the films. When he rolled it quickly, the people on the screen will move quick. If he rolled it slowly, the people will act like a cat doing anything very slowly. In fact, I have never saw this kind of movies before. The oldest one I saw maybe the non color one, which just have two colors, black and white. In China,we have some traditional movies, and one of them was called PiYing Xi. The images in the film are made of fur of animals, and then we need a white background, some lights. In fact, we performance it just using the shadow of these images and act them on the white background. In old times of China, it was just a kind of entertainment to attract children for fun.
Today, the movies are popular among all ages of people. It is a romantic way for boyfriend and girl friend. It is for couples to be in memory of their anniversary of wedding. It is for children to learn some knowledge. It is for tired people to relax and have a rest to enjoy life. Movies influence our everyday life and it have a great impact among all the people now. People now could not live without movies

PIYING XI is very famous in China, I watch it on TV, but I never really watch it in my dailylife. I like to watch old movies which only have two colors-black and white. sometimes in my mind, I think the sky in the movie is really grey. lol. I can count their names. such as Roman Holiday, Modern Time and so on. I think sometimes we have the same hobby and opinions.
i think the last part of "blue man" , they use the some skil of Piying Xi, it make me homesick...
i still remember, the first black-white movie i saw was Chaplin, he walked with his feet turned outward.
i like movie, but i dun know the reason why i love movie.hehe

so I decied to watch Highlanders.
I think PIYING XI's materials are made of animals' skin, not the fur. I have seen people played PIYING XI in the movie which is called Huozhe. The main actor in that movie is a player of PIYING XI, but I do not think it is as interesting as movies.

I can still the last night I spent in China before I came to the USA. All my family members went to the Huayi-Wanda Film center to see the latest film called the door of Holly. Although the film itself is not good enough, but the memory of the time I spent with my family memebers in the theatre will last long forever. I like watching movie, especially Chinese Troditiaonal ones. I love see the film directed by Yimou Zhang, one of the most famous Asian director around the world. I hope he can achieve the Oska Prize in the future.
I looked up Pi Ying Xi and read about it. I'd seen it, but I didn't know what it was. I've learned so much from all of you! :-))
