Movies really have along history among us. I still remember that I saw the style of old movies on TV. It was so funny. One person should roll the films. When he rolled it quickly, the people on the screen will move quick. If he rolled it slowly, the people will act like a cat doing anything very slowly. In fact, I have never saw this kind of movies before. The oldest one I saw maybe the non color one, which just have two colors, black and white.

In China,we have some traditional movies, and one of them was called PiYing Xi. The images in the film are made of fur of animals, and then we need a white background, some lights. In fact, we performance it just using the shadow of these images and act them on the white background. In old times of China, it was just a kind of entertainment to attract children for fun.

Today, the movies are popular among all ages of people. It is a romantic way for boyfriend and girl friend. It is for couples to be in memory of their anniversary of wedding. It is for children to learn some knowledge. It is for tired people to relax and have a rest to enjoy life. Movies influence our everyday life and it have a great impact among all the people now. People now could not live without movies

Keeping healthy is a human hope all the time. How to keep healthy and how can be more active in life are always big questions in people's life, especially among the old people.Nowadays, the most popular place maybe not bars or restaurant any more, it may be the fitness centre. With the qualities of developing rapidly, more and more people realise that there is nothing could be superior to or compare with health.

When we are young, we always like to stay up late and do a lot of activities in midnight. It is so excited for us to take adventure and risk doing something unbelievable. At the same time, we rarely consider anything about the dangerous consequences. That is the nature for young. Bush plans visit to southern Indiana on Tuesday

WASHINGTON -- President Bush is traveling to New Albany, Ind., on Tuesday to talk about the federal budget, the White House announced today.
Bush has criticized the Democrat-controlled Congress for not sending him the annual spending bills on time. He has threatened to veto most of them.
The president plans to speak at the Grand, a convention and banquet center, at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.
No other details about his trip were immediately available.

The reason that I choose this news is not related to any polities things. It is just because that I find although different country has their own political policies, the status of presidents are all important in every country. Nearly all the countries or just a small organizations all need a leader to operate masses of matters every day. Presidents always may be thought that they are the different people from others and they are one of the most important persons in the life.

In China, the preseident is hardly saw ih their life. Just in some ceremonies or summits we could see them on TV. And most of time they wear a tidy suit with tie and do the same gestures to express their prepared presentation or speech. They are totally different from others. They have masses of matters every day and so many events need them to deal with. In the USA, maybe the presidents are more often seen in life. They hope to give their residents an impression that they are one of you.

of mice and men

Coming to American for more than two months, but during that time I really read so few books, just

"of mice and men" which is the

homework of reading class. However this time is the different, because in China I read some English novel, however, it had the Chinese lines beside. So sometime I was so lazy that just saw the Chinese lines and it could not practise my English skill.

"of mice and men" is a very good novel which describe a life in the old times when people have different valid level between each other and most of the poor led a very difficult life at that time. This novel does not express this kind of feeling so valid, however, it uses a very clever way to express it. The writer creates two common worker working in the ranch and they are different because they have a great future plan for themselves. They are different from the other workers who just work hard for their bosses everyday and have no freedom.

There are a lot of interesting characters in the novel and most of them are nice guys, like Slim who has a very good personality, Candy who owns an old dog and he loves him very much, Lennie who has a mentally disease, however, he has a warm heart and he loves mice so much, George is a short guy with bad temper and has a good planning for himself and so on.

The writer writes a lot of stories happening between them. Although sometime they have fun with each other; however, they are no happy in fact. So we could imagine that their dream of future really is hard to come true under the terrible society at that time.

It is a cool book, even though i have not finished yet.

California Residents Confront Results of Wildfires

SAN DIEGO, California (AFP) - Firefighters reported progress Friday in controlling wildfires in southern California, but the death toll rose to nine as President Bush toured the scorched US state.
As firefighters continue to battle blazes in Southern California, many San Diego residents returned to neighborhoods once in the fires' path. Mike Sullivan reports from Ramona, outside San Diego, that some people have found their homes destroyed, while others have suffered little or no damage.

It is such a pity. Why does more and more wildfires come out in the recent years. I think it must be related to ourselves. If there are few people who smoke nearby the original forest and there are few pollution and bad materials which are easily to be fired, the wildfires maybe more hard to exist.

However, I also think at this area our Chinese should learn more from you. You have done it so well in protecting the environment. In China, because of the fast improvement in Economy, more official members ignore the environment and even sacrifice the environment for development. So I hope it will be changed in a few decades.

Traditional Chinese music

Music in China has a long history like our country herself. There are big distinctions between traditional Chinese instruments and the instruments all over the world. We almost sustain the regional characteristics of Chinese old style and also add into some fashion elements. So now we can find that the traditional Chinese instruments are playing an very important a role in the world. Owing to its striking features, more and more people all over the world hope to learn more about it.

I like many kinds of music, but traditional Chinese music give me the strongest impression. For my part, although Chinese musics are not more magnificent than America or west musics; However, When you devote yourself into it, you will find there is a stream passing by your heart. That kind of feeling cannot be described by words, but I hope you try.

To be honest, no matter what you want to learn is not an easy thing. When I was 14, I made up my mind to learn GuZheng which is a traditional Chinese instrument. Every week I just learn 50 minutes in a music school, and I must play 2 hours per day to practise it. At first, it was really hard and boring, because I cannot play a whole song, just some boring musical notes once and once again. And the string of GuZheng made my nails hurt so much. After one and a half years, I would prepare for my high school entrance examination, so the time is less and less. Finally, I had to give up my learning of GuZheng and worked hard for my examination. It was really pity.

At any rate, I love traditional Chinese instrument and music, in fact, now I cannot play a whole and long song in GuZheng because of lacking of practise. However, if I had more time and energy when I have a rest, I will continue to practise it. Hope for it.

GAO KAO of adults in China has just finished

The GaoKao( college entrance examination) of Adults had just finished in China yesterday.

The number of candidate in QingDao has been up to 54902, which is much larger that it last year. "The paper was too easy than I thought before!" A candidate said this for responsible of the examination this year.

In China, GaoKao is a big event every year. During that time. if a family has a candidate, it will be the busiest days in the lifetime and will be never forgot. All the people will treat candidate so well no matter if they know you; the taix is free for candidate and their families on these days; Any candidate who has no car to take part in the exam, a lot of other people are waiting for pick them there; if some candidates are late for exam, they just need to make their emergency lights on and others will make room for them at any time; A lot of companies offer free drink, free food, free umbrellas, free chairs, free bue for rest for candidates and their families outside the gate of examination hall; almost all the society are watching candidates these days, they are main characters.

Look at the pictures above, there is a little piece of island on the masses of logs. That is the true phenomenon in China nowadays. With so few good colleges and so many students each year, everyone hopes to get into these most wonderful colleges. The challenge and pressure cannot be imagined in thought. However, to some extent, it is really a meaningful experience for students. When you stay up into midnight and sleep just few hours everyday, have 14 hours classes each day, even do not see sun for weeks, face up with textbooks and workbooks like a sea, do not move and even sacrifice the time to restroom....... That is GaoKao. If you have this kind of even, what are you afraid?

However, there are lots of disadvantages generated by GaoKao. With the huge pressure, so many students in China have a very bad healthy because of the lack of exercise and sports. A lot of students only study and care about nothing around them, so they become selfish and silent and do not want to speak to anyone.

Since there are always two sides to every coin and we cannot choose fish and meat together. Just be aware of what you have done and what you will do, that will be enough.

WHAT A CYBERSPACE

This is a world with constant dynamics, no one can imagine what will happen next minute. The point is we live in a cyberspace.

Look at the picture on the left; we are now all like that girl. In our brain there are no longer just thinking and making desicion; we begin to input and output what we have got outside, we become live machines with live brains as crystal plate full of information.

We do not sure if what we do now is a revolution or something opposite, but in fact, know this world clearer and deeper than we know in past few decades. This progress, or call it information evolution, has taken human beings so many benefits.

With the development of cyberspace, we could connect with people wherever they are; even we could see them no matter how long distance it is; we can operate masses of machines at a time without any people; we can send massages in a handful of seconds and do not need to worry about anything. When we shorten the distance, we should have shortened the time to do other things. However, we find the time we have is shorter and shorter, why?

There are a large amount of companies, which set up and develop into striking feature in this new kind of area. For example, SONY and SUMSUNG in Japan rely on the cyber products; they lead the development of world. Without out complex processes, time saving and labor saving, they can make such a big fortune.

In China, we have so many genius in this area; however, with so many other problems to be settled down, we really have a long distance to go and many knowledge to learn. We believe that it will not be long for us to catch up top features with so many hardworking people.

What do all human beings care?

Global news, is not the news who won a competition or who opened a new kind of company; it is something everyone in this world should care about and think about something. It has nothing to do with different countries or different complexion. Because we are all human beings, that is the point.

If all lands will move toghther and connect into a whole land tomorrow; If all the cloud will get down and you will see cloud all around you ; If all people will have wings tomorrow; If all things must be up side down because of the wrong gravity; If the male and the female must switch their genders right now, what is your response? And what is the others' response? I think it will be almost the same. Because when we consider this problem, we aim at the whole world, not just one person or one country.

If human beings can be as free as dolphins, the love will become more holy and expectant. But in fact, we are not members of dolphins, so something may be complex. And sitting beside one's lover in a quiet place or some restaurant is really boring.

I like going dating with friends. When we come out to enjoy the scenery outside, we could talk about all topics we like and order anything we like, and the most important thing is that we do not need to pay much attention to the way or the gesture of eating and doing. So if we want to make our life more comfortable and full of relaxation, we only need to make more best friends and think nothing about your BF or GF. Or just be single, that is so free and excitied.

In my life, I consider my relatives as the most important part. I can burst to laugh from the bottom of my heart and burst to tear without reasons freely. I can express myself truely without thinking what's feelings they will have. I treasure every moment with my families, especially my younger bother. There is not any kind of emotions and feelings can compare with it and can be superior to it. I----I----really really miss them so much. I hope to go dating with them.
